According to the immortal Twitter account of Kanye West, “Dreams come true” — at least, if you’re Kim Kardashian.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians reality star and her husband-to-be, rapper Kanye West, made headlines last Friday when it was announced that the infamous couple would finally get the Vogue cover of their (read: her) dreams.
We’ve already covered why this was a huge deal for Kimmy K but it became a huge overblown story for everyone and their pop culture-illiterate mothers. Turns out, not many people are happy the reality TV star is getting all this attention. It must be because she first found fame thanks to her status as one of the offspring of O.J. Simpson’s lawyer, Robert Kardashian Sr., who famously got the former NFL football star off for murder or as one of Paris Hilton’s besties in the early 2000s. Then an opportunity in disguise came knocking after her sex tape with rapper Ray J famously leaked in 2007. She somehow managed to turn all that embarrassing attention into a reality television show gig for the entire family, including her step-father, Olympian Bruce Jenner.
In any case, the Kardashians are here to stay whether we like it or not. At the very least, we can make fun of them at their expense.
Here’s our favourite Kimye Vogue spoofs:
James Franco and Seth Rogen as Kimye
They already spoofed Kanye’s ultra-odd “Bound 2” music video, so why would they ever let this classic Vogue cover go?
Watch the Throne Kimye
Jay Z and Kanye are one of rap’s greatest bromances, and it’s no secret Kanye has a “little brother” inferiority complex when it comes to Jay Z. How could you not? The man is married to Beyoncé. Beyoncé.
Game of Thrones Kimye
Game of Thrones’ merciless sellsword Bronn and the series’ least hated Lannister, Tyrion, made a great team while it lasted.
One Direction’s Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson as Kimye
Most Directioners know Larry is where it’s at but we’ll give this a pass because ONE DIRECTION.
True Detective Kimye
Rust & Marty 4Ever.
and onto the spread…
Selfies on Selfies
But we all know what Kanye really wanted to take a photo of. It also reminded us of this:
Kanye the Vampire
Kanye not showing up in the mirrored wall behind Kim and baby North West may be a detail overlooked by photographer Annie Leibovitz and her team, but it’s a mistake we’re willing to play with. In any case, Leibovitz should take pride that this will probably become a photograph every photography course will dissect for years.
and lastly, Kanye’s dream fixed

Thanks, New York Times’ Dave Itzkoff, for correcting this mistake!
